Experience
I come from Finland and have studied International Economics in Helsinki (MBA) as my first profession. I have experience working in business, consulting and as an embassy staff member. Additionally, I studied Adult Education at the pedagogical Faculty of the University of Helsinki and have worked as mentor and as an expat consultant. For many years, I have lived and worked in Austria, Poland and Russia before I moved to Germany with my husband.
I attended the Paracelsus School in Frankfurt am Main, where I earned my degree as a certified non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy according to the German HPG law. Additionally, I am a certified Psychological Counselor (VFP).
Besides psychotherapy for mental disorders, I offer psychological counseling in order to help clients find ways to improve the quality of his/her everyday life. I am a member of the Association for Free Psychotherapists, non-medical practitioners for Psychotherapy and Psychological Advisers. (VFP Verband Freier Psychotherapeuten, Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie und Psychologischer Berater e.V.).
Besides my professional background, I am an experienced expat spouse and mother of two children, who both attended and graduated from international schools. During my life abroad, I have held several important positions at international schools and within other expat organizations.
