About me

I’m a British-American coach based in Miami, working internationally, with more than 15 years’ experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s most challenging, complex and painful periods.

My coaching work can complement existing clinical support or be a standalone support.

My areas of expertise include addiction recovery, expat challenges, sex and pornography addiction, anxiety and depression, narcissistic abuse recovery, personality disorders, major life transitions, eating disorders, trauma, grief and creative and career stagnation. I’m in my own long-term recovery and can’t overstate this: even though things may feel desperately hopeless right now, it’s never too early or too late to reclaim your own or a loved one’s life and move towards the freedom you deserve.

Having lived and worked in Tokyo for a decade and lived, worked and travelled in more than 55 countries, I understand the myriad and complex challenges of expatriate life innately. I support individuals, families and couples who want a thoughtful, non-judgmental space in which to better understand themselves, communicate effectively and navigate difficult circumstances together, beyond layered historical or current wounds.

My coaching approach is psychoanalytically informed, warm, direct, emotionally intelligent and practical: I want to empower you with the tools you need to create sustainable relief and meaningful change in your life. Human beings need both a place to be completely honest and someone who can help translate that emotional honesty and clarity into meaningful action.I listen attentively and without judgment, while addressing the “elephants in the room” and illuminating blind spots you may not yet be able, or have the tools, to identify for yourself.

My international experience in Europe, Asia and the Gulf has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of inherited wealth, culture, family, identity, and personal and professional relationships.

I provide discretion, unswerving consistency and a nuanced understanding of my clients’ lives and my initial fifteen minute consultation is complimentary and entirely without pressure. It’s critically important that you feel seen and held, and that our dynamic is the right fit for your needs.

I’m grateful for the privilege of possibly supporting you. Thank you for considering my coaching services.
